spill the sound at the northern music awards

StreamGM’s Spill The Sound blends new and unsigned acts from Greater Manchester alongside established indie headliners.

The bi-weekly show is filmed in The Yard Mcr, a former victorian school in Manchester’s Cheetham Hill.

This unique setting with stunning acoustics, partnered with StreamGM’s production team and broadcast partner Blackmagic Design’s state of the art digital technology, gives local acts a high quality, global platform to be able to showcase their music.

Hosted by acclaimed music presenter Louise Schofield, this quirky show encapsulates everything we miss about music television.

The format blends quirky interviews in a bathtub full of plastic balls, hook-a-duck and quick fire chats, peppered with exclusive live music sessions, reminiscent of legendary music television programmes such as Channel 4’s music show Popworld,  Granada TV’s ‘So It Goes’ (hosted by Antony Wilson) & Snub TV, a cult music show from the 90’s that launched The Stone Roses.
